During the end of the 2010s, football was engaging in one of its most persistent problems. Black coaches couldn’t get a job in the league, in the head man positions or the coveted offensive coordinator positions. Over a summer I went around to a bunch of the league’s training camps to sit with Black coaches who voiced their concerns that the league has left them behind.
