After a few national championships, Dawn Staley built a mansion in honor of her late mother on the shady side of Columbia, South Carolina. She wanted something to reflect her unmistakable vision that dreaming big and defying the odds was well within her grasp if she built it with her own hands. Now that everything she touched shined gold, she thought she should coach Team USA to another one, a story on the eve of the Tokyo Olympics.
